CCU

For Carbon Removals Integrity

Carbon capture system

VIOLON’s Auto CO2 Capture Equipment efficiently converts CO2 into HCO3−, providing an energy-efficient solution for removing significant amounts of CO2 from the atmosphere. Based on a simple neutralization principle, the process requires neither heating nor pressurization and produces a stable bicarbonate (HCO3−) solution or crystallized form.

CEMS

VIOLON’s Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS) conform to ISO 201811, is installed at the inlet and outlet pipelines of CCU equipment to provide real-time measurement of CO2 concentration, wind speed, temperature, pressure, and humidity.

Static Pressure

Based on ISO27915:2017 Section 6.4.2.3.22 “capture system” the formula to quantify uncaptured CO2 in a capture unit is:

Emissionss = Productions − Captures

By directly measuring the CO2 mass at the tail gas inlet and exhaust outlet, the total mass of CO2 captured in the CCU system can be quantified by subtracting the two.

ISO Certification

VIOLON’s CCU equipment assembly and testing facility located in Tainan has been certified by the third-party verification body SGS for compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.

  1. Conform to ISO 2018: 2023 – Stationary source emissions.
  2. Conform to ISO 27915:2017 – Carbon dioxide capture, transportation and geological storage.
